GRANTS
For Community Benefit
Wareside Parish Council awards grants of up to £500 to projects in the village. Some previous examples of grants awarded can be seen below. If you or your group have a project which would benefit the village and requires some funding please contact the Parish Clerk for an application form.
WARESIDE VILLAGE HALL
The Village Hall Committee, who are responsible for the Village Hall management and upkeep, have been successful in their grant applications for many years. The Village Hall is considered to be a benefit to Parishoners
WARESIDE CHURCHYARD
For many years the council has contributed funds, through its Grant scheme which have been used to maintain the grounds in and around Holy Trinity Churchyard.
FRIENDS OF WARESIDE CHURCH
An application was made to improve safety at events at the local church. The grant was awarded and new railings were installed within the balcony area in keeping with the church's historical style
WARESIDEÂ SCHOOL
The creation of a Sensory Garden at the Wareside Village School was funded with a grant application. Unfortunately the village school closed at the end of the summer term in 2022.
