FRIENDS OF THE CHURCH

Church of the Holy Trinity  is sited within the heart of the conservation area of the village and is supported by members of the local community.

The Friends of Wareside Church is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) set up to encourage use of the church and its grounds and was founded in 2016 coinciding with the church’s 175th anniversary.

​

This group undertakes fundraising activities to finance the building’s preservation and upkeep for current and future generations to enjoy. These activities help to build a sense of community.

The church and church yard are home to many mature trees and are a haven for wildlife and interesting plant species.
