VILLAGE HALL

Wareside Village Hall is located within the heart of the village. It is used for local entertainment and is also available for private hire at very reasonable rates. The building provides a main hall area, kitchen, toilets and a small meeting room at the rear.

A wooden clad building which has been in situ since it was first erected in 1926, by Hitch & Co., on land generously leased at a peppercorn rent, from local landowners, the Buxton family. The building is maintained and run by a management committee.


Since its erection, it has been at the heart of the community and is used for a wide variety of purposes from children’s parties to Shakespeare plays.
