Meet the Wareside Parish Council Members

PAUL GOODMAN

Chairman

Paul has lived in Wareside for 15 years and first joined the Parish Council in 2013. Such has been his contribution to the Parish that he was elected Chairman in 2018. Paul is a member of the Friends of Wareside Church and is regular contributor to The Waresider on behalf of the council.

REBECCA BURDICK

Parish Clerk

You may well bump into Rebecca walking her dogs around the Parish. Since moving here in xxxx and living in the centre of the conservation area, she is a  familiar face to many. Rebecca has served the community since xxxx when she became Parish Clerk.

JANE MOSELEY

Councillor

A Wareside resident of 22 years, and a Councillor since 2019. With an interest in the natural environment with specific interests in Larkshill and most recently Little Oak Heath. You may well spot her on the village paths and bridleways walking her dogs.

KIM NICHOLSON

Councillor

Kim has lived in the heart of the village for 24 years with her family. Having served the community since 2018, Kim's primary interests are keeping the village safe for residents of all ages and ensuring it remains a pleasant place to live, by keeping our village tidy.

SHU PILLINGER

Councillor

Shu has lived in Wareside since 2018 and joined the Parish Council in 2020. She is a keen walker, runner and cyclist and has created the Wareside walking map to share her love of the Parish's footpaths and bridleways. Shu supports causes to improve road safety and protect our community and environment from climate change

STUART RICHARDS MVO

Councillor

Stuart has lived in the centre of the village with his family for almost 30 years and has been a councillor several times in that period. Now retired there's nothing he enjoys more than being out walking with the dog when he's not pursuing his interests in travel and classic cars.

MIKE RYAN

Councillor

Mike's lived in the village for over 20 years serving the community as a councillor for several terms. Retired, he is an active volunteer for the Red Cross Emergency Response. He is an active member of the Allotment Association with interests in music, photography & travel.

ERIC BUCKMASTER

East Herts District Councillor (Hunsdon Ward)

Eric attends the parish council meetings providing updates on both District and County matters. He is currently an Executive Member for EHDC Wellbeing and HCC's Environment committees. 

Eric lives in Sawbridgeworth.
