Due to the resignation of a Councillor there is a vacancy on Wareside Parish Council. No experience is necessary, just an enthusiasm for the Parish and a commitment to representing the views of residents. All training is provided. 

Virtual Parish Council Meetings

Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak in the UK Wareside Parish Council is unable to meet face-to-face as normal. The Council is meeting virtually via Zoom, any parishioners who which to virtually attend please contact the Clerk for joining instructions..

As you will all be aware the country is currently facing the Coronavirus pandemic. The Parish Council is here to support the community.

Ware North and East

April 30, 2019

The adopted East Herts Draft District Plan lays out plans for a large development North and East Ware. This development is for 1000 house by 2020 with an additional 500 possibly being added in 2030. Eighty percent of the land for this development would fall within the Parish of Wareside.

General Data Privacy Regulation

May 24, 2018

The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) will take effect in the UK from 25 May 2018. It replaces the existing law on data protection (the Data Protection Act 1998) and gives individuals more rights and protection regarding how their personal data is used. Local councils and parish meetings must comply with its requirements, just like any other organisation.
